In particular, I would like to highlight and bring to your attention the cases of three Russian boys that I personally interviewed during the visit, who are held in Al-Alaya Prison, and in Houri and Orkesh Rehabilitation Centres, and convey my deep concern about the absence of protection for their human rights and their increased vulnerability in detention, as well as their severe state of trauma due to the separation from their families. These boys were all brought to Syria, arrested and detained, then separated from their families while still being minors. Alleged victims: 3 More details... | |
