Information received concerning the transfer of several human rights defenders and political prisoners to prisons in distant locations, including Maryam Akbari Monfared, Zeinab Jalalian, Yasaman Aryani, Monireh Arabshahi, Mojgan Keshavarz, Atena Daemi, Sepideh Gholian, Golrokh Iraee, Saba Kord Afshari, Nasrin Sotoudeh as well as health condition of Raheleh Ahmadi and denial of temporary leave to Zeinab Jalalian, Maryam Akbari Monfared, and Atena Daemi, over the last 13, 12, and four years that they have remained in prison.

informations reçues concernant des allégations selon lesquelles M. Walid Nekiche aurait été détenu au secret et torturé. Ces allégations font également état de la lenteur des procédures juridiques destinées à enquêter indépendamment sur ces allégations, et si elles étaient avérées, de poursuivre les tortionnaires et garantir réparation à la victime. Elles font aussi état de pressions exercées sur M. Nekiche pour qu’il retire sa plainte de torture.

Information received concerning some provisions contained in the Draft Law of the Ministry of Justice on "'Reforms relating to parent-child relationships and other matters of family law' (hereafter the Bill) amending the Greek’s Civil Code concerning child custody in case of a separation or divorce of the parents which is currently being discussed in Parliament. This Bill, if enacted, could facilitate the exposure to heightened risks for victims of domestic violence in the context of shared custody.

Información recibida en relación a alegaciones sobre el uso excesivo de la fuerza y armas de fuego por parte de policías y miembros del Escuadrón Móvil Antidisturbios (ESMAD) empleadas contra manifestantes y personas defensoras de derechos humanos que protestaban de forma pacífica desde el 28 de abril de 2021 en contra de las reformas fiscales en Colombia, así como en relación a las alegaciones recibidas sobre posibles detenciones arbitrarias y desapariciones forzadas de estas personas. Tomamos nota del anuncio del pasado 2 de mayo por parte del Presidente de la República que retiraría el proyecto de ley sobre la reforma fiscal.

Information received concerning the recently adopted Law 4686/2020 (hereinafter: the Law on NGOs) and Joint Ministerial Decision 10616/2020 (hereinafter: the JMD), which introduced new onerous legal requirements and conditions for registrations of non-profit organizations (NGOs) that work with migrants and refugees. This might severely hamper the work of independent NGOs, especially smaller organizations that that do not have the financial means to comply with all the reporting requirements.
