Information received regarding racist statements made by Mr. Sérgio Camargo, who was recently appointed President of the Palmares Cultural Foundation. Racist statements have also been posted in the Foundation’s website. In addition, under Mr. Camargo’s leadership some structural changes have been made to the Foundation which may undermine the transparent and participatory decision making within the institution.
