Information received concerning the designation of several Emirati nationals and associated entities as persons and organisations supporting terrorism pursuant to Cabinet Resolution No. 1 of 2025. The individuals concerned reportedly include Emirati dissidents living abroad, relatives and associates of individuals prosecuted in the UAE94 and UAE87 proceedings, and companies associated with Emirati nationals residing outside the United Arab Emirates (UAE). We are concerned that the inclusion of these individuals and entities on the national terrorist list raises concerns under international human rights law.
