 Information received concerning allegations of human rights violations in Gaza in response to the attack by Hamas on Israel on 7 October 2023. The allegations concern the enforced disappearance of human rights defenders, journalists, healthcare workers and students, including women and children, who are deprived of their liberty and held in secret prisons and military camps, where they are reportedly being subjected to torture and ill-treatment, possibly leading to death, while placed outside the protection of the law.
