Information received concerning deportations, arrests and other human rights violations against refugees, asylum seekers and migrants, including potential victims of trafficking, in Egypt. These concerns are also related to those already raised in a letter to your Excellency’s Government on 17 December 2024 (EGY 7/2024), including concerns in relation to compliance with the customary international law principle of non-refoulement and the State’s obligation to ensure protection against refoulement, including serious risks of trafficking or re-trafficking, particularly for women and children.
