 Alleged arbitrary closure of a human rights organization promoting women’s rights and gender equality. According to the information received, on 24 June 2014, the Salmmah Women’s Resource Centre, a human rights association promoting women’s rights and gender equality registered with the Ministry of Justice, was closed down by the authorities. It is reported that this measure was taken a few weeks after the organization promoted women’s rights and gender equality in various fora.
