 Information received concerning serious allegations of death in custody and detention conditions amounting to torture and ill-treatment in Shala Prison, in El Fasher, North Darfur, where approximately 9,000 persons, including women, are being arbitrarily detained by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), with many detainees allegedly facing life-threatening conditions due to lack of food, water, medical care and inhumane detention conditions.
