Information received concerning the lack of access to counsel in Cambodia, due to pressures on the legal profession and lack of access to free legal aid. Legal aid in Cambodia is reportedly affected by a lack of investment and funding by the authorities, and the lack of an adequate framework for legal aid. This gap has been covered by non-governmental organizations, who are now threatened by international funding cuts.
