 observations on the draft law “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic (to the Family Code, the Law ‘On Civil Status Acts’, and the Law ‘On the Protection of Citizens’ Health’)” (hereinafter “draft law” or “the draft amendments”), which was published on 30 January 2026 for public comment on the website of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic. Following public discussion, the draft law was formally submitted for parliamentary consideration on 31 March 2026.
